Getting to Know Us

All about us

Purpose: The purpose of CCCC is to grow in our relationships with the Lord through the teaching of the Word of God, praying, the breaking of bread, and fellowship (Acts 2:42).

Teaching: One major distinctive that we have at Calvary Chapel is the teaching of the Bible, verse by verse, with application to our daily lives. We believe that the answers for all that we are facing in our lives today are found in God’s Word (2 Peter 1:2-4).

Worship: Worship is more than singing songs in a particular style we may be use to. It is the response of the heart to who God is and what He has done for you. It is ministry to the Lord, which is one way that we might have fellowship with Him (Acts 13:2).

Children: The children’s ministry at Calvary Chapel is designed to assist you in raising your children in the Lord (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). Nursery and Sunday School is provided during the service for infants through the sixth grade so that your children might learn the Word of God on their levels.

Attire: We’re a casual congregation. Feel free to wear whatever you would like, as long as it is modest.

What to Bring: Bring your Bible and a pen. As we study through the Word, you may want to take some notes. If you forget your bible, we can loan you one. If you are in need of a Bible, we will gladly give you one. Bring an open heart. Come expecting to hear God’s voice and learn something about Him, and yourself! Bring a friend. We encourage you to bring a guest to service. God calls us to share our faith; you never know the impact you can make on someone’s life by a simple invitation.
